TriviaEdit

  • This conflict may have been inspired by the Sino-Soviet border conflict (中苏边界冲突), a seven-month military conflict between the Soviet Union and China in 1969.
  • The title could is a reference to Tom Clancy's political thriller novel The Bear and the Dragon. The novel describes a Chinese invasion into Southeast Russia.
  • Actually, People's Liberation Army has no rank systems until 1985 (They abolished it in 1965, one year before the Cultural Revolution).
  • For unknown reasons, the Soviet forces gain several out of timeframe units like the T-80A, Su-27S and the Mi-28 in their formations, making it that much harder for the combined Chinese and North Korean forces.
