The Centurion, introduced in 1945, was the primary British main battle tank of the post-World War II period. It was a successful tank design, with upgrades, for many decades. The chassis was also adapted for several other roles. Israel used Centurion tank during the Arab Israeli wars it also saw service with ANZAC during the Vietnam War, South Africa have their own model called Olifant and Israel have their version called the Sho't (Hebrew Whip) it put fared well against the Arab T34/85, T-55, T-62 and T-72.
