The Challenger 1 Mk.2 is a new prototype tank for the United Kingdom that appeared in the Magna Carta DLC for Wargame: AirLand Battle. It has improved accuracy from a Thermal Observation & Gunnery System, as well as better ammo giving it increased attack power.
History[]
The Challenger tank was first came into service in the 1980s it was designed to counter Soviet tanks like the T-72 but it didn't see combat in Europe in 1991 it saw some combat in Desert Storm against Iraqi T-55 and T-72 tanks and in the Iraq War and War on Terror.

Like all British tanks, the Challenger 1 Mk.2 sacrifices speed and range in order to pack heavy armor and a powerful main gun. So its usage remians largely the same as its predecessors, to function as a slow moving fortress capable of taking a lot of punishment while giving out its own.
