The HN-5B or Hóng yīng-5B (Chinese: 红缨-5, literally "Red Tassel-5") is a chinese Anti-Aircraft Team that first appeared in Wargame: Red Dragon.

History

The HN-5 MANPAD is the first domestically produced anti-air system based upon Soviet tech. This system is a reverse-engineered version of the Strela 2. The HN-5B system is based upon the Soviet Strela 3 and entered service during the 1980's; however, it wasn't officially announced until 1990.

Ingame

This unit is really cheap and is highly useful due to its 50% accuracy. It is highly recommended to place them in cover such as buildings and forests since it wouldn't be able to survive against any type of attack by infantry and tanks. If it ends up in the middle of a firefight, immediately order it to retreat.
