Hachi-ni Shiki CV is a Japanese Command APC that first appears in Wargame: Red Dragon.
In 1974, two wheeled armored vehicles were designed to a Japanese Ground Self-Defence Forces requirment. A 4x4 vehicle was designed and built by Komatsu Seisaku-Jyo while the 6x6 vehicle was designed and built by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries After trials the 6x6 vehicle was chosen.
Two models of the vehicle was created a reconnaissance model and a command model. The reconnaissance model was type classified as Type 87 while the command model is classified as Type 82.
Type 82 is maded of all-welded construction and crewed by eight. In real life the Type 82 is armed with a pintle-mounte 7.62mm Machingun in the front crew compartment along with a 12.7mm Machingun in the rear crew compartment.
Type 82 only serves in the Japanse Self Defense Force.
The Type 82 CV can be thought of as a Hayate with superior armor and HP stats. With 1 armor all around, as well as 10HP, the Type 82 CV is capable of surviving light bombardment as well as infantry fire, but will still be destroyed relatively easy by heavier artillery and bombs. Additionally, it comes at an availability of just 4 per card. Relative to the Nana-yon Shiki A CV, it is actually more expensive (130 deployment points per unit versus 125 deployment points), which means that the Type 74 A CV is a better choice for hotly contested zones while the Type 82 CV might be better for zones that may end up being contested.
