Type 74 mod G (74式戦車 G型) is a Japanese prototype main battle tank that appears in Wargame: Red Dragon. In-game it appears as the Nana-yon Shiki G.
The Type 74G is a 60-point main battle tank available to Japan and Blue Dragons. It is statistically a step up from the Nana-yon Shiki E, bearing a slightly improved gun with one more AP power, much improved frontal and side armor (although its rear and top armor is the same), as well as a new secondary weapon -- the Mk 19 AGL. It is similar to the Leopard 1A5 in terms of cost efficiency, capable of taking on heavier tanks at close range as ambush vehicles, or quickly scrapping enemy transport vehicles.
The most notable feature of this tank, however, is the Mk 19, which makes it extremely effective versus soft targets like infantry or 0-armor and 1-armor transports, as well as for stunning heavier enemy armor. The stunning and panicking effect of the Mk 19 makes it capable of engaging targets at much closer range than would otherwise be possible, although it is largely up to luck as to whether or not a fortuitous stun will occur.
The only stat downgraded from the Type 74E is its speed, which is 5km/h faster than the Type 74G.
