The second most senior infantry regiment in the Army, the PPCLI's unofficial motto is "First in the Field". It was the first Canadian formation in Europe in WW1, participated in the liberation of Italy and the Netherlands in WW2 and carried out heroic defense against overwhelming odds at the Battle of Kapyong of the Korean War. It regularly contributed troops to Canada's contribution to NATO in Europe and participated in most of the country's UN related peace keeping missions.

The PPCLI appears as a BLUFOR battlegroup in the Pearl of the Orient campaign of Wargame: Red Dragon.

DescriptionEdit

In Pearl of the Orient the PPCLI is actually part of the umbrella PPCLI command that consists of all the forces that Canada has contributed to the defense of Hong Kong. They arrive on the 2nd day of the conflict by air and can then be deployed from any available airfield.
