The SK 60B is a ground attack aircraft available to Sweden and NATO which first appeared in Wargame: AirLand Battle.
History[]
The SK 60B is a twin-engine, two-seat light strike and trainer aircraft developed by Saab for the Flygvapnet. The SK 60B is a model of the Saab 105, modified to give the aircraft light attack capability, and given a new weapons sight. The SK 60 was taken into service 1967 and has remained active ever since, although mainly as a training aircraft, and the type was exported to Austria as well.
In wartime these were used in four light attack squadrons 5th Air Wing with 51. and 52. light attack squadrons and 16th Air Wing with 161. and 162. light attack squadrons.

AirLand Battle[]
The SK 60B is a light strike platform available to Swedish and NATO decks. It carries two Rb 05A air-to-surface missiles and no other armament or ECM. The type, then, is highly vulnerable to attacks by SAMs and enemy fighters, however, it fills the specific role of accurately placed strikes against lightly armored targets, thanks to its fairly accurate and powerful Rb 05A. The Rb 05A has HE power akin to a 500kg bomb, but can be fired directly at specific targets, making the SK 60B a good and inexpensive choice for spot removal of lightly armored command posts and vehicles.
Red Dragon[]
The SK 60B in Wargame: Red Dragon is heavily nerfed, as the missiles is still SA thus only one can be fired per pass, and for some reason always miss when using Fire POS. It has become a bit like an ATGM plane for soft target only. With the low autonomy it can't really loiter over the AO waiting for a target to show up. And because of the slow speed you have a high chance of losing LOS before the plane reach the target.
