History[]
Regiment Stoottroepen was founded on 21 September 1944 in Eindhoven from members of the Dutch resistance from Brabant and Limburg province. Battalions were deployed to Dutch East Indies. The Regiment was reduced to 41 Infantry Battalion which became a pantserinfanteriebataljon.
The Rifle Group has a Carl Gustav and a FN MAG.
