The Soviet T-72K1 is the command armor variant of the base T-72. It was first introduced in Wargame: AirLand Battle.

History[]

T-72K was the command series of the T-72 obr. 1973g Ural. T-72K had multiple long-range radios along with a 10m-tall foldable telescopic communication mast. T-72K1 was the company command tank. The tank company of the tank regiment has 10 tanks of a company headquarters tank along with three platoons of three T-72. While the Motor Rifle Regiment tank battalion has companies of 13 with a company command tank along with three platoons of four tanks. T-72 were used in second line formation or in secondary theaters.

The T-72K1 shares the same stats with the 45-point T-72, except the ammunition for the NSVT was only 300 rounds.
